Elafonissi Beach
Elafonissi (some people also call it Elafonissos or Elafonisi) is something like an island and a peninsula, because to reach the island you have to walk through the sea.
What characterizes the area of Elafonissos and makes it such an exotic place, are the little sand islets formed, the crystal clear shallow waters of the sea, which at a point looks like a lagoon, and certainly the fine white sand, pinkish at several spots because of the crushed shell powder.
The shallow waters in this top exotic place has beautiful colors in all shades of turquoise, galazio (light blue) and blue.
For several meters from the beach, the depth of the sea is about below the knee, which makes this destination ideal for children.
It is offered to play rackets and volleyball literally in the water.
Attention!
It is forbidden to take pink sand with you.
